Our client is a rapidly expanding luxury apparel brand and they are looking to enhance their Software Development team with the addition of an experienced SQL Database Administrator/Developer. They are looking for a proactive and skilled individual to join their team and contribute to their mission by optimizing and managing their database solutions.
The SQL DBA/Developer will be responsible for ensuring the performance, availability, and security of databases in our company. You will work closely with developers to design, develop, and optimize database systems to support our complex and dynamic business needs.
Key Responsibilities:
Collaborate with software developers to create optimized SQL queries, and design and develop database tables, views, stored procedures, and functions.
Develop and implement database automation to streamline operations.
Create and manage indexes to enhance database performance.
Conduct problem-solving and troubleshooting for all database issues.
Identify application defects and recommend solutions to fix bugs and other defects.
Requirements:
3 to 10 years of experience as a SQL DBA.
Proficiency with SQL Server Enterprise, version 2017 or newer
Strong skills in SQL performance tuning and optimization.
Experience in data modeling
Excellent problem identification and resolution skills.
Hybrid work, 2-3 days on-site a month
