Responsibilities:
- Assumes responsibility for and ensures operators follow all safety policies and procedures.
- Daily 5 S tasks are completed
- Mandatory rotation of jobs.
- Job specific PPE requirements are met
- Accident reporting is completed
- Monitors daily employee time and attendance and reports discrepancies to human resources.
- Performs subordinate employee evaluations per the review process.
- Monitors employees start and stop times for start-up, breaks, and end of shift
- Approves, authorizes employee requests for Vacation, PTO, leave, etc...
- Assists with employee training and ensures training matrix information is correct.
- Performs in conjunction with the Business Unit Manager and Human Resource representative, employee counselling's.

- Ensure compliance to the escalation process.
- Follows the "document change" request procedure
- Quality Policy is maintained at each work center
- Adheres to the Non-conforming materials processes for the tagging, sorting and disposition of non-conforming product.
- Utilize 3x5 problem solving for any safe launch findings.
- Fosters a "0 defect" quality culture
- Attends Fast Response meeting and provides update to action items.
- Ensures group leads, lead ops and operators complete all production documentation requirements accurately and information required is present and able to be read.
