Pyramid Healthcare in Martinsburg is looking to bring on a Maintenance Manager!
- Manage maintenance of regional facilities and equipment.
- Help with new construction projects including some project management.
- Construction/remodeling of existing structures, preventative maintenance and urgent repair needs.
- Supervise facility staff members in housekeeping, maintenance and grounds keeping.
- Complete a variety of remodeling tasks and provide a safe and secure working/living environment for all
- Provides consultation to management regarding facility issues.
- Keeps required logs and schedules required tests.
- Maintains orders and picks up the appropriate supplies needed for repairs and renovations and janitorial
- Keeps building plans and blueprints in proper order.
- Oversees contractor repairs as needed.
- Track facility repairs and utility costs using excel spreadsheets.
- Responds to regional facility emergency requests for equipment repairs.
- Handles and/or supervises snow removal and landscaping.
- Maintains boilers/utilities and related infra-structure.
- Responsible for responding to off-hours facility emergencies.
- Provides Risk Participation at a corporate level.
- Maintains all applicable Building, NFPA, CARF, Life Safety Codes and building regulations.
- Leads in the planning and execution of Building Maintenance Projects.
- Leads in the repair and adjustment of laundry, heating, refrigeration, and air conditioning units.
- Hiring Supervisor for Maintenance and Housekeeping staff at facilities.
- Performs other maintenance related work as required.
Technical Competencies:
Provide Maintenance/Construction Project Management. Evaluates and submits cost reduction ideas to VP of Engineering. Maintains repair records and prepares related reports. Performs equipment/facility repairs as needed. Maintains all applicable Building/ NFPA/ CARF/ Life Safety Codes and regulations with proper record keeping. Tracks facility work projects both finished and unfinished. Maintains a property list of tools and equipment. Provides close supervision to facility maintenance staff. Supervises
housekeeping staff to ensure that buildings are kept clean and maintained both interior and exterior. Requests, assembles and analyzes contract bids. Submits bids and recommendations to VP of Engineering for action. Maintains Risk Free facilities with maintenance issues addressed. Maintain a competent level in maintenance skills, plumbing, electrical, structural, HVAC areas. Maintain competencies in maintenance/ construction/ engineering and NFPA/ CARF/ Department of Health codes and building regulations.
Education, Experience:
High School Diploma or equivalent required. Plumbing, electrical, building and heating experience. Building Codes or Construction, Engineering and Project Management experience.
