Classroom Teacher

Addison Central School District Classroom Teacher 2024-2025 Addison Central School District is seeking a 3rd grade classroom teacher for the 2024-2025 school year at Mary Hogan School. Successful candidates will demonstrate an interest in child development, commitment to student-centered, inquiry-based teaching and learning, and have a capacity to differentiate instruction around student learning styles and abilities. The ideal candidate will have experience utilizing Responsive Classroom and trauma-informed practices to build an inclusive classroom community. Knowledge of standards-based curriculum and/or International Baccalaureate Primary Years Program is preferred and ability to collaborate and work as part of a team is essential. Successful candidates will have experience teaching foundational literacy skills and have experience teaching the Bridges in Mathematics program. Qualified candidates must hold an appropriate current Vermont Educator license with the pertinent endorsement.
