Unique opportunity to join Maryhaven, Central Ohio’s largest and most comprehensive behavioral services provider specializing in addiction recovery. Under the supervision of the Manager of Stabilization Services at the Maryhaven Addiction Stabilization Center, the Peer Recovery Supporter’s role is to support others in recovery from a substance use disorder. They will serve as a role model, mentor, advocate and motivator to recovering individuals in order to help prevent relapse and promote long-term recovery. The Peer Recovery Supporter must demonstrate an ability to share personal recovery experiences and to develop authentic peer-to-peer relationships.
Peer Recovery Support Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Must have worked within the last three years with at least 12 months total of successful part-time or full-time paid or voluntary work experience
- Must be a Certified Peer Recovery Supporter in the state of Ohio
