Crisis Specialist Job Description Unique opportunity to join Maryhaven, Central Ohio’s largest and most comprehensive behavioral services provider specializing in addiction recovery.

Under the direction of the Manager of Homeless Programs, the primary responsibilities of the Crisis Specialist include the prevention of and / or intervention in crisis situations with clients at the Engagement Center or at the Commons at Chantry.

Crisis Specialist Requirements

  • Knowledge and skills at a level normally acquired through the completion of a bachelor's degree in human services or behavioral healthcare field preferred.
  • High school diploma with previous experience (lived or professional) in crisis and de-escalation, work mental health and substance abuse disorders housing and homelessness required.
  • LPC, LSW, LPCC, or LISW preferred.
