At this event, you will be able to APPLY for any open position. Correctional Officer positions will be able to APPLY and INTERVIEW on April 20, 2024.

The minimum qualifications for our Entry Level Correctional Officer position includes a High School Diploma or GED; must be at least 21 years of age (able to apply at 20 years and 6 months); US Citizenship or Resident Alien Status; and complete background requirements. _ No experience required.

Entry Level Correctional Officer Salary: From $51,563 per year

Entry Level Correctional Officer Sign On & Regional Bonus: Up to $7,500

HIRING INCENTIVES:

Newly hired Correctional Officers will receive a $5,000 incentive – $2,000 after successfully completing their training at a Maryland Police and Correctional Training Academy and $3,000 after successfully completing their probationary period. A regional hiring bonus of $2,500 is available for applicants who select the Eastern Shore, Hagerstown, or Cumberland facilities.
