Job Description: Maryland Environmental Service has an opening for a Facility Safety Coordinator at our Montgomery County MRF in Derwood, MD. The qualified candidate will plan, coordinate and manage the Montgomery County Material Recovery Facility’s Health and Safety Program and Employee Training Program. Minimum Requirements: The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s Degree in Safety and Health, Science or Engineering coupled with a minimum of 3 years of experience in an industrial setting and a working knowledge of OSHA 29 CFR 1910 for General Industry. Candidates with an Associate’s Degree in a relevant field of study with at least 5 years of experience, or candidates with a High School Diploma and 10 years of relevant experience supporting or managing safety programs in an industrial setting will also be considered. Must have a valid driver's license than 5 points. This position will be open until filled. Estimated Pay Range: $43,810.47 - $76,669.23 MES believes our employees are our greatest asset.
