JOB SUMMARY The Director for International Recruitment will lead all international recruitment for Marymount domestically and abroad and through the development and execution of recruitment activities designed to increase enrollment of international undergraduate, graduate, and non-degree students at Marymount University. Direct Supervisor AVP for Enrollment Management Status Full-Time, Exempt Grade 12 Division Enrollment Management and Student Affairs No. Direct Reports 0 Target Weekly Hours 40 Location Main Campus Benefits Eligibility Yes MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Develop and manage marketing, communications and recruitment strategies to meet the University’s international recruitment objectives. Engage with prospective international students and families throughout the admissions pipeline to include phone, email, virtual and in-person events and communications. Serve as the first and primary point of contact for international students throughout the enrollment process. Perform evaluations of academic credentials to make an admission’s determination. Identify potential agreements with educational institutions, governmental authorities, corporations who can assist Marymount in achieving strategic enrollment efforts. Cultivate relationships with partners (current and potential) and other educational professionals who work with international students. Work in close collaboration with Marymount’s Enrollment Management team to meet overall institutional enrollment objectives. Develop strong relationships with Marymount’s ISS team to ensure a seamless transition through the I-20 and onboarding process. Stay abreast of current and emerging international student mobility trends and report in an advisory capacity to Enrollment Management and other stakeholders regarding opportunities for growth. Interpret and analyze data from a variety of sources to determine the most effective utilization of available resources. Compile reports reflecting figures with regard to international student enrollment. Manage the international recruitment budget. OTHER DUTIES AND ASSIGNMENTS Represent Marymount on University-wide Committees when appropriate Attend all international prospective student events. Perform other duties as assigned. JOB REQUIREMENTS Education Master’s degree preferred. Experience 5 years of related experience in international enrollment and admissions. Experience with higher education CRM systems; SLATE preferred. Experience living and/or working abroad preferred. Licenses or Certifications None. Financial Responsibility Makes financial decisions within University or accepted accounting guidelines, including review of financial reports, purchasing decisions, contract review/negotiations, etc. Supervision None Special Knowledge Foreign credential evaluation experience; experience working with non-native English speakers. SPECIAL WORKING CONDITIONS Ability to work occasional nights and weekends Passport and willingness to travel internationally required.
