What are the responsibilities and job description for the Parent partner position at Masada?
Parent Partners are parents / caregivers who have first-hand experience with the various state systems and who exhibited exceptional qualities in their own efforts to understand how systems work.
They have an appreciation of what it takes to be successful and possess personal qualities that lend themselves to collaboration on various levels.
In order to be considered, the Parent Partner's cases must be closed, and he / she must be maintaining family stability.
The Parent Partner reports to the Clinical Supervisor.

Requirements
- High school graduate or GED
- Must have been the parent or primary caregiver (not foster parent) of a child / youth who received services from DCFS, Probation, State Regional Center, or Department of Mental Health
- No current open DCFS or Probation case for at least one (1) year
- Bilingual Spanish required
- COVID-19 Vaccination and booster (when eligible) is required for this position. Accommodations will be considered with proof of a legal exemption
- Must have internet, a computer with a camera, and Microsoft Office or a compatible program
- Valid California Driver's License, good driving record, and must be able to drive to fulfill the duties of the position
Competitive Rate
Tier 2 : $25.97- $28.85 per hour.
$1,000 signing bonus - Receive the first half of $1,000 on the first paycheck and the second half after completion of 6 months of employment.
