You will provide care for patients from various types of illness or trauma requiring emergency attention and must be able to recognize and effectively treat life-threatening conditions.
Compensation & Benefits
Competitive Compensation $54.91 to $74.96 DOE
Float to IMC
Work weekend every other weekend, 12 hour shifts.
Requirements
CA RN License, BLS and ACLS
At least 1 year of ICU experience
Meditech experience preferred
Responsibilities
10 beds ICU
Responsible for Primary care, assist with intubation, central- line, a line, ICP/EVD monitor, Blood transfusion include massive transfusion, insertion of chest tube, CRRT, Hypothermia, Bronchoscopy, Tracheostomy.
Due to the range of medical conditions that may require urgent treatment and care, they must be knowledgeable about general as well as specific health issues.
Meditech charting, medication & supply Pyxis, Glucometer (Nova –strip), EV 1000, Artic sun (hypothermia machine) Dragger ventilator. Integra ICP machine, Phillip cardiac monitor. Next stage CRRT machine.
Able to treat patients with multiple trauma including neuro trauma, spinal cord injury
Medical/ surgical type, Sepsis, DKA, GI bleed, overdose, renal
