Inventory Control needed in the Chicago IL area
2nd shift: 3:00 pm to 11:30 pm M-F

The Inventory Control Associate is responsible for accurately maintaining inventory levels in the warehouse, ensuring proper inventory rotation and storage, receiving products from clients to check for quality, maintaining the daily schedule of audits, and completing inventory reports. Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following:
- Ensure accuracy of inventory levels between inbound merchandise and outbound merchandise.
- Perform audits of associate transactions.
- Research discrepancies utilizing QL reports as needed.
- Report associate errors and/or findings to management.
- Initiate and execute all safety procedures and standards with regard to inventory control and utilize good judgment at all times.
- Organizes warehouse for efficient storage and item distribution per supervisor instructions.
- Maintains product rotation and storage disciplines (FIFO).
- Meet or exceed productivity standards.
- Adhere to the security regulations of the facility.
- Document and communicate physical counts of all items in inventory at year-end Record product counts using RF scanner Monitor bin labeling while performing cycle counts to ensure accuracy
- Compiles data from sources such as contracts, purchase orders, invoices, requisitions, and accounting reports and writes, types, or enters information into computer to maintain inventory, purchasing, shipping, or other records.
- Keeps back order file in established sequence and releases back orders for issue or shipment as stock becomes available.
- Compiles stock control records and information such as consumption rate, characteristics of items in storage, and current market conditions, to determine stock supply and need for replenishment.
- Reviews files to determine unused items and recommends disposal of excess stock.
- Perform any other distribution duties and responsibilities as needed.
