Material Handler
Duties:
- Operate various equipment such as order pickers, pallet jacks, cranes, and clamp trucks to move materials within the warehouse or distribution center
- Load and unload materials from trucks or containers
- Perform order picking and packing duties according to established procedures
- Utilize a warehouse management system to track inventory and ensure accurate stock levels
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area
- Collaborate with warehouse supervisors and other team members to meet production goals
Experience:
- Previous experience as a material handler or in a similar role preferred
- Familiarity with operating order pickers, pallet jacks, cranes, clamp trucks, and other warehouse equipment
- Knowledge of warehouse operations and distribution center processes
- Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks for extended periods of time
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment
