What are the responsibilities and job description for the Production Team Lead position at Masis Staffing?
Masis Staffing is excited to announce we have partnered with a national home goods manufacturer. They are seeking a motivated, individual looking to further their career as a Team Leader. This position would be leading our 1stshift assembly team Monday thru Friday from 7am until 4pm, with hours to vary at times must be flexible. Work is performed at our clean room facility in Sanford, ME. This is a Temporary opportunity with longer term potential. Starting pay is $19.00/hour and is paid on a weekly basis.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Understanding & implantation of company policies, procedures.
- Communicate clear instructions and assignments to team members.
- Train and certify new employees.
- Use pallet jacks to transport raw materials.
- Load raw materials onto production lines.
The Ideal Candidate:
- Able to read, write and comprehend written or oral instructions.
- Keen eye for detail and quality while checking product for defects.
- Lead and motivate the team while on your feet during an entire shift.
- Manage performance and encourage team members to meet production goals.
- Smoke Free Workplace
Dress Code:
- Steel toed shoes required
- Long sleeve and long pants required
- No jewelry, hoodies, perfume/cologne, buttons above waist, or nail polish.
PPE required (supplied by company):
Safety glasses, Face masks, beard guard, Earplugs, hair nets, cut resistant gloves.
