Quality Inspector

Masis Staffing is looking for a Quality Inspector for a composite manufacturing company in Rochester, NH. This is a Temp-To-Hire opportunity with weekly pay!

1st Shift – Monday – Friday – 6 am – 2 pm - $20.00 - $25.00/hour DOE!

General Duties and Responsibilities:

• The Inspector will be tasked with a variety of inspection activities including incoming, in-process and final inspection. General tasks will include gathering status information from various areas in the manufacturing facility.
• The primary task will be maintaining and reporting on the calibration system and conducting various testing specific to the customer’s requirements.
• Contribute to the efforts of the quality team to meet the daily goals in Safety, Quality, Delivery, Inventory and Productivity.
• Contribute efforts to maintain zero lost time accidents, both in the area and throughout the plant.
• Drive and support efforts to maintain good housekeeping practices in both the assigned group and throughout the facility.
• Keep inspection records as specified by customer and ISO procedures.
• Other duties as assigned by management.

The Ideal Candidate:

• Must be able to read, understand drawings, quality control and safety, and perform normal math calculations easily.
• Computer knowledge is preferred, especially working knowledge of MS Word and Excel.
• Must be familiar and comfortable with inspection gauges and equipment to perform dimensional evaluations.
• Knowledge in the following areas: assembly, machining.
• Three years’ experience preferred but will consider other applicants.
• Effective verbal, written, and mathematical skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division) are required.
• Must be able to repetitively use arms, hands, and fingers in the manipulation of parts.
• Must demonstrate good hand/eye coordination. Must demonstrate good manual dexterity.
