JOB SUMMARY:
To assist in the processing and analyzing of financial transactions in accordance with the company’s mission and philosophy.
PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Assist in the processing and analyzing of financial records (computer reports, invoices, billings, payments, etc.) with efficiency, accuracy, and confidentiality.
Assist in reconciling, balancing, and analyzing general ledger accounts for reliability.
Provide service to customers.
Assist in the monthly general ledger closings.
SECONDARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Provide backup assistance to other analyst functions as necessary, within and out of the department.
Maintain a basic understanding of financial statements and reports.
Assist in audits as necessary.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:
No supervisory responsibilities
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES:
Excellent communication, interpersonal, problem solving, organizational, and customer service skills.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
Strong attention to detail.
Ability to prioritize and meet deadlines.
Self-motivated and directed; able to take initiative.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
Actively enrolled as a student in a bachelor’s degree program majoring in Accounting or Finance required.
Previous experience in accounting and/or finance is a plus
