Quality Supplier Engineer

Here’s what you will do Our Quality Supplier Engineer will lead our external suppliers’ new qualifications for new suppliers and new parts. You will drive and support the development and implementation of global sourcing supplier quality vision and strategies. You will improve product quality, consistency and efficiencies to support our global business. You will reduce component non-conformances and COPQ by using modern quality tools, statistical tools and lean manufacturing tools. You will conduct on-site visits for product and process audits; identify quality improvements to reduce COPQ and defects rates. We are looking for people who have strong interpersonal skills; are enthusiastic and results driven. This position is project driven; we are looking for strong prioritization, planning, reporting and organizational skills. What you will need BS in Engineer or Supply Chain required. Minimum 3 years of quality management experience in a multinational manufacturing environment. Proficiency in Word, Excel, Access, Project and PowerPoint skills. Six Sigma training and /or Blackbelt certification is a plus. Ability to travel up to 30% to domestic and international suppliers/partners. Fluent in English. Experience in building materials industry including coating, adhesives, wood, metal, chemical, plastic, glass and electronic categories are preferred. What we offer Competitive compensation.
