The Opportunity: Advanced Practice Practitioner, Virtual Urgent Care (Remote)
General Overview
Mass General Brigham now offers convenient, high-quality virtual urgent care services for many health conditions and minor injuries. We are seeking experienced, full-time Advanced Practice Providers (Physician Assistants and Nurse Practitioners) to support this exciting new service line.
While this role will evolve into a remote position, new hires will be required to be onsite for training/onboarding during the first 90 days. Once remote, there will be times that providers will be asked to come onsite occasionally for meetings, trainings, coverage, etc.

Qualifications
- Successful completion of a Physician Assistant Program or Nurse Practitioner educational program, which includes clinical training in family medicine, urgent care, emergency medicine, internal medicine, pediatrics, or another specialty.
- 1 yr. in Urgent Care or emergency department required
- 1 yr. Clinical experience that includes the care of pediatric patients (3 years and older) preferred
- State medical license (MA required, NH preferred)
- DEA license
- State-controlled substances license (if applicable)
- Ability to treat patients in a solo practice environment
- Experience in procedures including suturing and splinting preferred
- Experience in reading diagnostic studies, including x-rays and EKGs, preferred
- BLS certification
- In good standing with previous employers, state licensing and medical boards
- Experience treating workers' compensation cases preferred
- Experience treating occupational health cases preferred
- Must be able to speak and write English fluently
- Reliable high-speed internet connection
- Previous experience providing virtual care preferred
- Willing to work in both traditional urgent care environments and on a virtual care platform.
