Job Summary
The Front Desk Assistant Manager serves as a leader in coaching, training, and developing the Front Desk team. As a representative of Resort leadership, the Assistant Manager works closely with senior management to cultivate and maintain a work culture of service excellence. As a service leader, the Assistant Manager works to strengthen interdepartmental communication to optimize the timetable for resolution of guest concerns. Additionally, the Assistant Manager leverages data findings to identify and monitor performance trends and drive process improvement efforts. As a strong contributor to Massanutten Resort’s quality efforts, the ability to guide professional growth and navigate large scale issues with attention to detail is essential in this role. Ideal candidates possess a friendly disposition with a desire to serve and lead others.
Required
Prior guest relations and training experience
Excellent communication and customer service skills
3 years’ experience in hospitality and/or related field
Must be at least 18
Preferred
Guest relations/hospitality leadership experience
Prior experience with CRM and PMS systems
Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and BI products

- Support Front Desk daily operations
- Develop and manage growth initiatives for employees
- Oversee team performance analysis
- Resolve guest concerns
- Analyze data & performance trends to support process improvement
- Lead onboarding cycle for department
- Serve as a leader in the Hospitality Operations division
- Other duties as assigned by management
