Responsibilities
Use Solidworks to develop designs and create 3D models of parts and large assemblies
Generate necessary technical documentation to support transfer to production. e.g. drawings, BOMs, assembly/installation instructions
Work closely with sales and customers to define project requirements and develop solutions
Sourcing new and replacement commercial parts for machinery including electrical panel components, photo eyes, motors, drives, motion controllers and pneumatic components
Participate in, and as needed lead, design reviews
Design system control of motion, temperature, pneumatic and signals
