What are the responsibilities and job description for the Lead Principle Coach, 100% Remote position at MassMutual?
Leadership Responsibilities:
- Assesses current state and make recommendations on how to build on our coaching culture strategy
- Influences leaders to understand the value of a coaching culture
- Navigates through organizational change effectively, finding creative ways to demonstrate the WIIFM of coaching
- Helps to launch communication items and campaigns to reinforce strategies and coaching engagement
- Determines if/when additional coaches are needed to bring into the organization and makes recommendations using data to drive these decisions
- Makes recommendations to leaders for process improvements based on observations of trends, progress and obstacles impacting coaching results or the member experience
Coaching Responsibilities:
- Meets monthly with coaches to provide verbal feedback on coaching data, coaching performance, and member experience results
- Ensures coaches are comfortable providing Focused Feedback
- Observes coaches as they provide feedback to ensure comfort with the process and that coaching is effective
- Records all Principal Coaching sessions in Coaching Mentor AIM Tracking site and maintains log of skill development and progress of each coach in Coaching Mentor
- Review coach’s data in Coaching Mentor tracking site to drive performance
- Maintains overall integrity of the Service Mentor Conversation Strategies and develops a positive, results driven coaching culture
- Develops calibration schedules and facilitate calibration sessions with assigned coaches
- Shadows coaches as they provide coaching (using the IDEA model)
- Meets monthly with assigned coaches to provide verbal feedback on AIM coaching data.
- In partnership with each coach, develops an action plan to drive performance and growth of the skill set of their team members
- Meets with Ulysses Learning weekly to ensure success
Minimum qualifications required:
- Bachelor’s degree
- 3 years of experience in coaching and mentoring in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to give direct feedback and suggest follow up actions
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Provides and promotes a best-in-class service experience
- Effectively navigates through an ever-changing environment
- Knowledge of company products and services
- Extremely organized, detail-oriented individual who is capable of self-managing and multi-tasking in a fast-paced, demanding environment
- Exceptional interpersonal, and communication skills
- Comes to work willing to laugh and have fun!
- Salary range $ 65,800 - 95,000 *commensurate with experience*
