The Opportunity
As a Quantitative Credit Operations Developer, the ideal candidate will draw on their knowledge of operations, data management, and programming. A background in investments will help you work closely with Portfolio Managers and Quantitative Strategists to build and refine existing processes and workflows. This role requires a moderate amount of Python programming, SQL development, and comfort in working with cloud services. You will additionally collaborate with other R&D team members to provide ad-hoc development as needed.

The Impact
As an operations developer, you will perform and provide for the following:
- Work with Credit Portfolio Manager, Strategist, and other developers to execute day-to-day Portfolio Management operations
- Implement and develop analytics, reports, and functional components
- Troubleshoot, debug, and validate analytical inputs and results
- Liaise with both internal and external data providers
- Automate and continuously improve processes and dataflows
- Collaborate with Enterprise Technology and Experience, Enterprise Risk Management, and Data Science on related efforts
- Undertake broader special research and development projects as needed
Minimum Qualifications
- 10 years of relevant work experience
- Full stack development experience (stronger on the backend)
- Python development proficiency
- Relational database design and optimization
- Background in cloud-based solutions
- Proclivity to automate
- Code testing and data validation
- Bachelor's Degree in a STEM related field
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience at an investment firm in a market setting
- Working knowledge of statistical models and predictive analytics
- Key technologies: Dash, Flask, Git, FastAPI, SQLAlchemy , REST API, WebSockets, PostreSQL,
- AWS services, and related tools and packages
- Graduate degree from top tier school
