We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Caregivers/Companions to provide exceptional care and support to individuals in need. As a Caregiver/Companion, you will play a vital role in improving the quality of life for our clients by assisting with daily activities and providing companionship. Responsibilities:
- Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
- Provide medication reminders and assist with medication management
- Prepare meals and assist with feeding if necessary
- Perform light housekeeping tasks including laundry, vacuuming, and tidying up
- Accompany clients to appointments or social outings
- Engage in meaningful conversations and provide emotional support
- Monitor and report any changes in client's condition to the appropriate supervisor
- Follow all resident rights policies and maintain confidentiality
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a caregiver or companion is preferred but not required
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Knowledge of dementia care techniques is a plus
- Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks such as transferring clients
- Familiarity with hospice care principles is beneficial
- Experience in childcare or assisted living is a bonus
