JOB DESCRIPTION
We are looking to hire an experienced English Instructor to be responsible for planning and delivering engaging English lessons to our 1st - 8th grade students. Our instructor will be assisting in teaching conversational English, Phonics, Reading Comprehension, Vocabulary, and Writing. This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate and experienced English educator to make a positive impact on students' language acquisition and help them achieve their language learning goals. This is a Flexible, Part-Time, in person opportunity.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor’s degree in English, Education or any related field (required)
Master's degree in English, Education or related field from an accredited college or university (preferred)
1 year experience as an English instructor or tutor (required)
Successful track record of developing student’s knowledge in learning English (required)
Professional communication skills (both spoken and written)
Competent in Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
Able to work independently and collaborate with a team
Enthusiastic about working with students and parents
Able to maintain strict confidentiality
Highly organized and detail oriented (attention to detail and accuracy is imperative)
Ability to meet schedules and deadlines
Good judgement and decision-making abilities
Good problem-solving skills
Good planning skills
Highly responsive

JOB DUTIES:
Collaborate with the Director of Curriculum Development to develop lesson plans and curricula as needed
Deliver interactive and engaging English lessons that promote the development of speaking, listening, reading, and writing skills.
Assess students' progress through regular evaluations, including tests, assignments, and participation, and provide constructive feedback to support their language development.
Provide homework help as needed
Able to lead a classroom of students effectively and work efficiently with students
Good classroom management skills
