PURPOSE OF POSITION
The Agency Relations Manager (ARM) is a full-time salaried position at Master Provisions (MP). The ARM is primarily responsible for providing ongoing support for the Managing Director (MD) by maintaining and strengthening relationships with food partner agencies. The ARM oversees new agency orientation plus management, training, and scheduling of front desk volunteers in the Food Center. The ARM provides monthly reports as requested by the MD and manages day-to-day tasks related to Food Center operations. The ARM will ensure that all aspects of operations under his/her responsibility are managed in compliance with our policies and procedures and are consistent with the mission of MP. The ARM schedule is flexible to meet needs of the ministry. The ARM will ensure that all aspects of his/her job performance are consistent with MP’s mission.
QUALIFICATIONS
· Effective spoken, written, listening and interpersonal communication skills
· Good organizational, administrative, office management and computer skills
· Ability to work on task without direct supervision
· Proactive management abilities to achieve desired outcomes
· Demonstrated ability to work well in a team environment
· College Degree Preferred, but not required
AREAS of RESPONSIBILITY
· Advance MP’s mission by providing ongoing support and managing relationships with food partner agencies to improve the quality and increase the quantity of services provided. Managing relationships includes initial partnership meetings, scheduling appointments, managing appointments, recruiting new partners, and making field visits to partner agencies.
· Supervise, schedule, and train front desk volunteers to create a positive and welcoming environment including answering and transferring incoming calls, operating the Food Center POS system, entering pounds of food distributed into database, entering outreach data, and other activities as ARM requests.
· Monitor processes related to Food Center operations for effectiveness, maintaining Food Center data, providing reports to MD, assisting the MD with onboarding new food partners, providing information to MD for budget preparation and onboarding new agencies.
· Manage the Master Provisions phone system including management of Ring Central.
· Assist MD as directed to lead daily prayer, devotions, and volunteer morning meeting at MP.
· Serve as an ambassador for MP by asking for physical and spiritual support, i.e., engagement in prayer, volunteerism, in-kind donations, and financial support.
· Promote a strong Christian culture focusing on collaborative partnerships.
· Attend MP special events as requested by MD
· Perform other duties as specified by the MD.
WORK REQUIREMENTS
· Attend weekly Monday staff MPower Up meetings.
· Attend all weekly Operations meetings.
· Attend at least one weekly prayer meeting.
· Work occasional evenings, Saturdays or Sundays as needs of the mission dictate.
· Work 40 hours per week with a workspace at MP.
