SUMMARY

We are seeking a highly experienced and strategic Director of Digital Marketing to lead our digital marketing efforts. The ideal candidate will have 10-plus years of comprehensive experience in digital marketing, with a strong focus on SEO, paid search, account-based marketing, and email marketing. The Director of Digital Marketing will play a crucial role in developing and implementing effective digital strategies to drive brand awareness, customer acquisition, and revenue growth.


RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Digital Strategy and Planning:
    • Develop and lead the overall digital marketing strategy aligned with business objectives
    • Identify and capitalize on emerging trends and technologies in the digital space
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with overall marketing and business goals
  • SEO and Paid Search:
    • Oversee the development and execution of SEO strategies to improve organic search rankings
    • Manage paid search campaigns, ensuring optimal performance and ROI
    • Maintain awareness of industry changes and algorithm updates to refine strategies accordingly
  • Account-Based Advertising and Paid Media:
    • Plan, execute, and optimize paid media campaigns across platforms
    • Monitor and analyze campaign performance, adjusting strategies to meet KPIs
    • Collaborate with creative and segment teams to develop compelling ad creatives
  • Email Marketing:
    • Develop and execute comprehensive email marketing strategies to nurture leads and engage customers
    • Utilize personalization to enhance the effectiveness of email campaigns
    • Monitor deliverability and engagement metrics, optimizing campaigns for maximum impact
  • Team Management:
    • Lead and inspire a diverse team of 5 plus professionals, including specialists in SEO, paid search, marketing operations, and web development
    • Foster a collaborative and innovative team culture, ensuring each team member contributes to the overall success of the department
    • Provide mentorship, guidance, and professional development opportunities to team members
  • Analytics and Reporting:
    • Implement and utilize advanced analytics tools to measure the performance of digital marketing channels
    • Provide regular reports to leadership, highlighting key performance indicators and insights
    • Use data-driven insights to continually refine and optimize digital marketing strategies
  • Analyze marketing program outcomes in detail, drawing insights and presenting results clearly to inform decision-making.
  • Understand lead scoring and enterprise B2B sales revenue lifecycle including MQLs, MQAs, and SQLs, and have knowledge of marketing automation platforms (Eloqua, Marketo, Pardot) and CRM systems (SFDC, Microsoft Dynamics).
  • Lead, nurture, and develop and team of marketing program managers and SDRs.
  • Build high performance team
  • Be responsible for the budget and report on key performance metrics aligned with ROI goals.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field. An MBA is a plus.
  • 10 plus years of proven experience in digital marketing with a focus on B2B lead generation tactics and account-based marketing
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions
  • Proven track record of developing and implementing successful digital marketing strategies
  • Experience managing and leading teams
  • Familiarity with marketing operations and web development

Willingness to work from the Salt Lake office preferred.
