Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Maintenance Engineer specialized in coating and welding. In this role you will have the opportunity to work handson with a variety of rotating and stationary equipment contributing significantly to our advanced energy companys operations.

Responsibilities:

• Provide expert technical support in coating and welding including testing and issuing related technical reports.
• Offer technical consultations to Shops Operating Repair Units and Contractor Shops.
• Support field installation maintenance and repair of rotating equipment.
• Troubleshoot repair and modify existing equipment focusing on cost reductions and process improvements.
• Prepare design engineering packages for rotating equipment.
• Conduct technical investigations for shop repair return jobs identifying root causes and corrective actions.
• Introduce and apply the latest technology in coating and welding methodologies.
• Develop and revise the departments technical procedures and standards.
• Mentor and share knowledge with junior engineers quality inspectors and technicians.
• Provide technical input for purchasing specifications and evaluate technical proposals.
• Collaborate with department engineers Consulting Services Department (CSD) other company departments and manufacturers.
• Coordinate with InHouse Repair Units Quality Assurance units InKingdom Contractors and vendors for shop repair work scopes.
• Participate in vendor and customer exchange meetings.

Requirements:

• This role required candidate to permanently relocate at Dhahran Saudi Arabia.
• Bachelors Degree in Welding Engineering.
• At least 15 years of handson experience in thermal coating and welding.
• Proven experience in thermal coating laser cladding and welding.
• Experience with rotating equipment in an original equipment manufacturing facility or a certified repairing facility.
• Welding certification from AWS or an equivalent organization.
• Excellent English reading and writing skills.
