What are the responsibilities and job description for the Inventory Assistant position at Material Handling Exchange?
We are seeking eager, energetic candidates that are willing to work hard in an industrial environment as our Inventory/Purchasing Assistant. This position is an extremely vital part of our operations.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
· Monitor current inventory of all products
· Assist with the receiving of all inbound/outbound materials.
· Ensure the counts are accurate of all inventory received and enter these items into Inventory Management System.
· Assist Inventory Manager in monitoring stock levels through the Inventory Management System and order products as needed to support sales team.
· Assist Inventory Manager in tracking
Preferences include but are not limited to:
· HS Diploma and 2 years of relevant work experience
· Proficient with Microsoft Excel and other office products
· Ability to type 45 wpm
· Attention to detail
· Self-starter
· Time management skills
· Organizational skills

Our standard hours of operation are:
Monday - Friday 8:00am - 5:00pm. – Paid overtime as needed.
