What are the responsibilities and job description for the Private Math Tutor position at Math Matters Tutoring?
Math Matters Tutoring is looking for fun, passionate, and smart tutors to join our team. We offer competitive pay and the opportunity to create your own schedule so you can work when, where, and however much you want!
You will be working one on one with students in their homes, assisting them with anything from math homework to reviewing concepts, or test prep to math facts. To do this one will need to have a good understanding of K-12 math, be able to assess a child's strengths and needs, be able to teach the student in the best way fit for them, and have open and reliable communication with the parents and employer.

Requirements:
Have great social skills.
A's in all math classes.
Must be able to drive yourself to and from appointments.
Pass grade level tests for the grades you will be tutoring.
Have a good understanding of math, able to clearly explain concepts, good with children, and communication skills.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
