HR File Clerk (OKC/FT)

EXAMPLES OF WORKED PERFORMED FOR HR FILE CLERK:

• File reprimands, vacations requests, separation forms, etc. into individual employee files.
• Potentially help convert paper files into online document management software system.
• Involves handling highly confidential employee documents, such as, but not limited to: medical records, FMLA certifications; severance agreements.
• Disciplinary forms, applications, employment verifications, 401(k) enrollment forms, etc.
• Prepare boxes of records for offsite storage as needed.
• Assist with the creation of new hire folders, inputting information into payroll system, completing I-9’s, and tracking of special projects as assigned.
• Any other duties as directed by management.

EMPLOYMENT STANDARDS FOR HR FILE CLERK: College coursework in Human Resources Management preferred; excellent communication skills both verbal and written; ability to handle confidential information. Knowledge of employment and merchandise handling procedures.

PHYSICAL ACTIVITY REQUIREMENTS: To successfully perform the essential functions of the job, an employee must be able to perform the following: Stooping, kneeling, crouching, reaching, standing, climbing, crawling, walking, pulling, lifting, talking, hearing/listening and repetitive motion.

Heavy Work: Lifting up to 10 lbs occasionally.

Work Environment: Indoor climate controlled environment. Employee will be located inside current file room and will work without supervision.
