Technical Product Manager - ETL

Job Title: Technical Product Manager

Duration: 6 Months W2 Contract

Location: Cincinnati, OH

Required Pay Scale: $70 - 75/hr W2

Postions:

One PM will focus on engaging teams across the company that are supported by the existing ETL teams. This PM will help connect those teams to Product teams that can assist with modernization.

The second PM will lead ETL agile teams. Both roles include driving strategy for the assigned areas, inspiring, guiding, setting objectives and key results (OKRs), and ensuring that the OKRs are achieved.

PM will be a facilitator within a larger cross-functional team to solve business problems. PM should be able to work with significant autonomy and freedom, requiring little oversight.

Project Details:

ETL Modernization. Company is modernizing our central data engineering (ETL) space. One example of these changes involve moving from Informatica to Databricks. We seek two Product Managers to help drive this change.

No more shared services ETL teams. Want teams to own data to build own solutions. Working to eliminate middle team from producer to consumer. Build Restful API Interfaces.

This is a technical space. A PM will need to have a technical background. They will need to be able to understand how we are modernizing our tech stack and collaborate with dependent teams. Know Databricks, JSON, & XML


Team: Team Dynamic - Team of 5 Product Managers. 10 Agile Teams. Provide data for entire company. 50 parts from HR to Logistics. Embedded Eng PM will have 3 teams


Must Haves / Required Skills:

• Communication, Collaboration, Data Integration/ETL
• Voice of Customer. Enablement type Product Manager. Targeting other Technical Product Managers within KTD.
• Enterprise experience is not required but desired. Go-getter personality!

Additional Skills

• Open to someone who has never been a Product Manager for ETL. Tech Lead working on ETL may suffice. Values communication over all.
• Gary built a team that allows teams to leverage frameworks. Used Databricks and considering Snowflake.
• Any technical Product Manager will be considered. Gary has never used Databricks until 6-months ago.
• Open to Assoc - Sr. PM for embedded ETL team. Seeking Sr. level for PM working as a facilitaor for large cross-functional teams. Extroverted individuals
