Controller

The Controller will play a critical role in managing the financial operations of the business, overseeing accounting functions, financial reporting, budgeting, and compliance. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting, excellent leadership skills, and a passion for supporting small business growth.

• Salary is based on experience, but could range between $90,000 - $110,000

Responsibilities

• Manage all aspects of financial operations, including AR, AP, and general ledger
• Prepare accurate and timely financial statements, budgets, and forecasts to support decision-making and strategic planning
• Provide financial insights and guidance to support business growth and expansion initiatives
• Lead and develop a small finance team, providing mentorship, guidance and professional development opportunities.
• Maintain internal books and finances Analyze financial transactions

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or 5 - 7 years of related experience
• Experience in the construction or manufacturing industry is preferred
• Experience in QuickBooks Enterprise and MS Excel
• GAAP knowledge, CPA preferred
• Strong written, verbal and collaboration skills
