Media Buyer

Matrix Media Services has been in business for 35 years and specializes in out-of-home, non-traditional, and digital place-based advertising. We partner with ad agencies, in-house marketing departments, non-profits, and small businesses to help them achieve their marketing goals through outdoor advertising. We are based out of Columbus, OH, but we execute media campaigns across the United States and Canada.

The Media Buyer role is an entry-level position that does not require any media, marketing, or advertising experience. This position works alongside our Senior Media Buyers, Supervisors, and Account Executives to ensure client needs are exceeded and campaigns run smoothly. With on-the-job training and experience, this position will lead to a Senior Media Buyer role or into Media Sales, if interested. Ideal candidates must be able to work independently in a fast paced, deadline driven environment, and those who are proactive, curious, and organized are best suited.

Responsibilities:

• Research out-of-home media
• Compile information for client proposals
• Manage / establish relationships with media partners
• Assist in media campaign implementation
• Provide general office support

• Proficient verbal/written communication
• MS Office. Excel experience preferred but not required

A college degree and/or marketing experience is not required. All training will be provided. This is a full-time, entry-level, salaried position with exceptional medical, dental, vision, and 401k incentives.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $32,000.00 - $40,000.00 per year
