Job Summary
The Document Control Coordinator position is essential to the success of a project, supporting the preparation, routing, and archival of company-controlled documents, and submittal and receipt of various documents pertaining to a project. The Document Control Coordinator is responsible for supporting the preparation, routing, and archival of company-controlled documents. All documents must be reviewed, logged, distributed, and organized as applicable. This position will provide support to the Document Control Supervisor ensuring accurate data entry and assisting with the preparation of submittal packages. This will include establishing, implementing, and coordinating the document control function to record, distribute, and file all customer, drafting, engineering, supplier, and construction documentation.
Essential Functions
- Actively supports the Company’s commitment to safety and its “Core Values.”

- Ensures documents are easily accessible as required and organized intelligently and intuitively.
- Keeps documents up to date with the most current revisions distributed in a timely fashion. Assists in preparation and issue of document packages in accordance with customer and company requirements and project schedules. Coordinates with various departments for revisions to and distribution of drawings, manuals, specifications and other data. Assists in updating procedures, forms and templates.
- Audits Internal, Contractor and/or Supplier documents and document management systems to ensure adherence to project document control procedures.
- Performs additional responsibilities, as directed.
Qualifications
- 2 years of related experience working in an office environment, preferably in the construction or oil & gas industry.
- Familiarity with engineering and construction industry practices, processes and standards and their impact on project activities is required.
- Familiarity of engineering prints, procedures and databases is desired.
- Must have excellent organizational skills and strong oral, written and interpersonal communication skills.
- Skill in data entry with minimal errors.
- Ability to prioritize and multitask in a high paced environment, high sense of urgency is strongly preferred.
- Must have strong computer skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook and Adobe PDF, as well as FTP sites such as SharePoint.
- Must have prior experience with a document control software such as ADEPT.
- Team oriented attitude with willingness to help support all departments, if needed.

Salary : $40,700 - $51,500
