About This Role
As an Experiential Designer at MATTE, you will be at the forefront of designing and conceptualizing immersive environments, events, exhibits, and installations. You will collaborate closely with our creative team to bring innovative ideas to life, ensuring that each project delivers a unique and unforgettable experience. This role reports into the Experiential Creative Director and is responsible for:
Concept Development
Collaborate with cross-functional teams and clients to generate creative concepts for experiential projects, aligning with client objectives and brand identity.Spatial Design:
Create spatial layouts, floor plans, and 3D renderings that optimize the flow and engagement within the experience.Visual Design:
Develop visual elements, graphics, and branding that enhance the overall atmosphere and storytelling of the experience.Prototyping:
Build prototypes and mock-ups to test and refine design concepts, ensuring they meet the desired objectives and aesthetics.Material Selection:
Choose Appropriate Materials, Finishes, And Technologies To Bring Your Designs To Life, Considering Factors Such As Durability, Budget, And Sustainability.Production Coordination
Collaborate with vendors, fabricators, and contractors to oversee the production process, ensuring the quality and timely delivery of all elements.Budget Management:
Maintain awareness of project budgets and work to optimize design solutions within budget constraints.Client Collaboration:
Engage with clients to present design concepts, gather feedback, and make necessary adjustments to meet their vision and goals.Trend Research:
Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies to incorporate innovative and cutting-edge elements into experiential designs.Salary Range : $70,000-85,000/yr based on experience
What You Will Bring
3 years of experience in experiential design and production; experience working within an agency environment is strongly preferred.3D capabilitiesYou can contribute to different stages of the design process; from Creative concepting, creative research, deck design, experiential design, floor plans, 3D renders, technical drawings and printed collateral.You can handle repetitive tasks and stay focused.You are well versed in documenting and enforcing guidelines.You are a clear communicator and are happy to work with clients from all over the world.Benefits include:
