Position Summary:
Supervise Quality Control on a daily basis- Problem solve quality issues with Manufacturing
- Involvement in GFSI system implementation and maintenance
- Ability to problem solve and make decisions on product quality
- Maintain a safe work environment
- Understanding of Bway Item Codes
- Other quality activities as directed by Manager
- Responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to.
- Manage Nonconformance system
- Maintain Calibration system
- Maintenance of Regulated products conformance in production UN, Dot, Etc.
- Ensure QC has proper equipment and resources to perform daily functions
- Maintenance of Color control program
- Interact with vendors and suppliers as required.
- Training as required
- Internal Audits as required
Job Requirements
Qualifications
- 2 years experience quality assurance
- Detailed understanding of Metrology and Statistics (SPC)
- Understanding of Plastics Injection molding
- Project Management Skills
- Basic Computer skills; MS Office
- Experience in Internal Auditing and Quality Management System
