Site Supervisor

Position Overview: Under the direction of the Area Manager, the Site Supervisor plays a crucial role in overseeing and managing the daily operations of our cleaning and maintenance teams at various client sites. You will manage small to mid-size teams, including staff development and training, quality control inspections, and direct interaction with government contract officers. You will ensure that all cleaning activities are carried out efficiently and meet our high standards of cleanliness and hygiene while using the right chemicals, equipment and processes. Our Supervisor will have a proven track record of supervising teams, and strong knowledge of cleaning techniques, chemicals, and equipment to perform the duties of the position

Key Responsibilities:

• Coordinate work schedules to ensure adequate coverage and timely completion of cleaning tasks
• Conduct regular inspections of work areas to maintain cleanliness standards and identify areas needing improvement
• Implement corrective actions as necessary to address deficiencies and ensure client satisfaction
• Train new team members on cleaning procedures, safety protocols, and customer service standards
• Provide ongoing coaching and support to enhance team performance and productivity.
• Monitor and manage inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment
• Investigate and report any accidents, incidents, or near misses promptly
• Build and maintain positive relationships with clients through effective communication and responsiveness
• Maintain accurate records of cleaning activities, inspections, and personnel performance
• Prepare regular reports for management on team performance, operational efficiency, and client feedback
• Operate cleaning equipment and conduct cleaning duties as required
• Perform other duties as assigned

Working Conditions:

·        Possible frequent exposure to heat, and sun for extended periods

·        Possible exposure to chemicals, fumes, odors, and various infectious diseases

·        Possible exposure to wildlife

·        Possible exposure to uncomfortable noise levels

·        Perform duties on varied shift schedules and days

Required Experience & Qualifications:

·        Must be at least 18 years old

·        High School Diploma or G.E.D

·        Minimum of three (3) years’ of related experience, and one (1) year of supervisory experience

·        Read, write, and communicate effectively in English as your primary language

·        Knowledge of tools, equipment, techniques, skills, materials, and methods of janitorial work

·        Ability to bend, stretch, twist, or reach with your body, arms, and/or legs

·        Ability to move and lift between 25 to 50 lbs

·        Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time

·        Be able to pass a background check and drug screening
