We are seeking a dynamic Marketing and Communications Associate to join our event fundraising firm. If you excel in a fast-paced environment and are eager to contribute to meaningful causes, this opportunity is for you!

As a Marketing and Communications Associate, you will:

  • Develop and implement marketing and communication strategies to promote our fundraising events and initiatives
  • Craft compelling content for various channels, including social media, email, press releases, and promotional materials
  • Assist in the planning and execution of fundraising events, ensuring effective communication with all stakeholders
  • Conduct market research to identify trends, opportunities, and potential partners
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure cohesive messaging and branding across all platforms
  • Engage with the community and media to raise awareness about our events and causes
  • Monitor and report on the effectiveness of marketing and communication efforts, providing insights and recommendations for improvement

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create and manage content for social media, website, email campaigns, and other communication channels
  • Develop press releases and coordinate with media outlets to secure coverage for events
  • Assist in organizing and promoting fundraising events, including logistical support and on-site coordination
  • Maintain relationships with donors, sponsors, volunteers, and partners through regular communication and updates
  • Monitor social media and other communication channels to engage with the audience and respond to inquiries
  • Support the development of marketing materials, including brochures, flyers, and promotional videos
  • Analyze the success of marketing campaigns and communication efforts, using data to inform future strategies

Desired Skills & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, public relations, or a related field
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong organizational and project management abilities
  • Creative thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
