Maintenance generalist

JobResponsibilities :

• Care for machinery and equipment by completingpreventative maintenance including lubricating moving componentsadjusting parts rebuilding completing scheduled service andassisting operators on change over
• Daily examination of equipment forassigned area to identify signs of excessive wear defects anddamage. Repair industrial equipment and machinery to ensure theyrealways in proper working order.
• Record allmaintenance and repair services performed and keep track of allmaterials and parts used during the repair process.

Observe andpromote all plant safety and GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices)specifications.

• Study manufacturer manualsand blueprints and carefully follow directions when operating orsetting up newlyacquired machinery or making repairs
• Attend training both off site and on site asneeded
• Make leadership aware of materials andparts that are needed when inventory grows low or isdepleted

• Willingand able to stand sit bend walk stretch climb push pull kneel squatand reach
• Willing and able to lift carry pushand pull 2070 pounds
• Willing and able to workin the cold or heat (10 degrees below zero to 105 degrees) or dampenvironments and these areas may have slippery walkingsurfaces
• Willing and able to work overtime andweekends as needed
• Basic computer skills inorder to complete required training and / or tasks
• Ability to identify parts and supplies needed to completejob tasks
• Ability to verbally communicatematerial effectively in a training environment
• Ability to read and understand manuals / instructionsblueprints and schematics
• Willing and able towalk on hard surfaces for up to 12 hours
• Ability to work as team and in individualsituations
• Ability to communicate both writtenand orally to other team members and management about dailyassignments
• Selfstarter with a sense ofurgency and an entrepreneurial spirit

Requirements :

Have 1 year of industrialmaintenance experience or 6 months of industrial maintenanceexperience with industrial maintenance education (I.

E Possesindustrial maintenance diploma or currently enrolled in technicalschool).
