Job Description Summary:

Provides leadership for those involved in the development, design and optimization of one or more information technology and systems functions supporting company business processes and technical information systems platforms. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, analysis, selection and modification of enterprise systems, application software, installation of network hardware/software and database management. Provides direction for the effort required to protect the company’s data, tools and information systems. Ensures infrastructure architecture standards maximize efficiency and support platform compatibility. Usually requires subject matter knowledge of user group for practical application of system characteristics. Coordinates delivery of services to user groups and ensures IT service is uninterrupted. Selects, develops, and evaluates personnel to ensure the efficient operation of the function.

Job Description:

Own and support mission critical solution operational functions for all manufacturing. Individual will work closely with development team and key business stakeholders to define and establish manufacturing data model, design new system functionalities, and drive continuous system improvement projects. The successful candidate must have good understanding of key manufacturing processes including Fab, Sort, Assembly and Test. In addition, knowledge on supply chain processes and Test engineering processes are a plus. Individual will provide leadership for those involved to support manufacturing on development, design and optimization of multiple factory, information technology and systems functions supporting company business processes and technical systems platforms. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, analysis, selection and modification of enterprise systems, application software, installation of network hardware/software and database management. Provides direction for the effort required to protect the company’s data, tools and information systems. Ensures infrastructure architecture standards maximize efficiency and support platform compatibility. Coordinates delivery of services to user groups and ensures IT service is uninterrupted. Selects, develops, and evaluates personnel to ensure the efficient operation of the function.

Responsibilities and Duties include but not limited to:
Support Internal and External Manufacturing team on Planning, Execution, and operational support.
  • Experience in running manufacturing IT and operations is required.
  • Process and system knowledge on Fab and Backend factory tools, applications and infrastructure. Vendor B2B interfaces and integration with SAP, Promis and Camstar.
  • Semiconductor manufacturing knowledge and industry experience required.
  • Partner with business stakeholders to understand solution pain points, troubleshoot complex operational and execution issues, and propose solutions.
  • Organize and lead teams to develop new functionalities and business processes to meet and surpass manufacturing requirements.
  • Improve governance and execution of factory tools and applications to ensure high integrity and quality output in manufacturing sites.
  • Drive continuous improvements on solution scalability and reliability.
  • Responsible for maintaining system architecture documentation, including reviewing and approving solution changes, data dictionary and tool/system changes.
  • Strong communication skills, with demonstrated ability to work effectively with technical, functional and Executive teams.
  • Strong project management skills and working knowledge of software development cycle.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities without compromising on ongoing factory support.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • 15 years hands on experience in designing, constructing, testing, and supporting manufacturing tools and IT solutions.
  • 5 years on experience of managing large size teams (50 ) with global footprint
  • Strong Leadership, communication skills, with demonstrated ability to work effectively with technical, functional and Management teams.
  • B.S. in Industrial Engineering, Production Planning or other technical degrees. M.S. Preferred.
