What are the responsibilities and job description for the Early Interventionist position at Maxim Staffing?
EARLY INTERVENTIONIST
As an Early Interventionist, you will be responsible for:
- Providing in-home/community-based intervention for children who have been identified as having, or being at risk of developmental delay or disability.
- Coaching parents and care providers to model strategies and provide education to continue effective methods to support their child’s development
- Schedule and coordinate visits with assigned families; plans curriculum accordingly.
- Complete necessary documentation within the required time frame, including billing, behavioral data collection, graphing, and treatment notes.
- Develop and monitor children’s goals to ensure consistency with Individualized Family Service
Plan (IFSP).
- Work closely with our in-house interdisciplinary team to provide effective intervention strategies, materials, and communication.
- Ability to adhere to company policies and procedures.
- Other duties as assigned.

EXPERIENCE & EDUCATION:
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Experience working with a wide range of children and families from varied socio-economic and cultural backgrounds.
- Knowledgeable and skilled in computer/word processing software.
BASIC & PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Must have reliable transportation and be willing to and able to travel between different job sites within a 40-mile radius of your home location.
- Valid California driver’s license, proof of current auto insurance and clean driving record.
- Fully Vaccinated and Boosted; Exceptions Accepted
- Ability to obtain background clearance.
- Must be able to lift up to 40 pounds.
- Must be able to assume and maintain a variety of postures (kneeling, squatting, crawling, sitting, standing) for extended periods of time.
- Must have manual dexterity to perform specific computer and electronic device functions for data collection.
- Must have visual acuity to read and comprehend written communication through computer, electronic devices, and paper means.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
