Responsibilities:
- Bake and prepare a variety of cakes and pastries according to recipes and customer requests
- Decorate cakes using various techniques, such as piping, fondant, and edible decorations
- Ensure that all cakes are finished and presented in an attractive manner
- Collaborate with the catering team to create customized cake designs for special events
- Adhere to food safety and sanitation guidelines while handling and preparing food
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, including proper storage of ingredients and supplies
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Cake Decorator or similar role in a culinary setting
- Knowledge of various cake decorating techniques and tools
- Strong attention to detail and creativity in designing cake decorations
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining quality standards
