Description & Requirements Maximus is looking for a Sr Admin - HA, Initial at the Maximus Brownsville, TX location. The Sr Admin - HA, Initial will process specific E-Rate transactions that require technical knowledge of USAC policies and procedures and an understanding of the competitive bidding process.
These reviews include Fiber, Cost Effectiveness, Services and Selective Review. This is an onsite role at the Maximus Brownsville TX location.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities : - Process specific E-Rate transactions that require technical knowledge of USAC policies and procedures and an understanding of the competitive bidding process.
These reviews include Fiber, Cost Effectiveness, Services and Selective Review. The Heightened Analysis Initial Reviewer performs the following duties : - Review applications to ensure the Competitive Bidding Process was performed according to the E-Rate Program rules and guidelines.
- Review documents such as contracts, bill of materials, logical and / or physical network layouts and validate that the scope and size of network being funded is accurate.
- Perform review of fiber installations to ensure all Program requirements have been met. - Ensure that the evaluation of the cost of equipment and services was appropriately verified.
- Utilize the Eligible Service List (ESL) to review escalations and provide guidance, support and training to other USAC departments' reviewers regarding program eligibility of internet equipment and services.
- Ensure E-Rate Procedures, job aids, checklists and other tools and documentation to process Program transactions, forms, applications, and escalations have been utilized, and processing has been performed according to Program rules and guidelines.
Minimum Requirements - High School diploma or equivalent required. - 6-12 months of related experience. - Minimum 3 to 6 months of E-Rate Program experience required.
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office products, especially Excel. - Strong knowledge in IT networks, infrastructure and / or broadband communications.
- Strong analytical skills required with attention to detail. - Ability to acquire job skills and learn applicable policies and procedures to complete assignments.
- Ability to read, understand and perform assignments within prescribed guidelines. - Ability to communicate routine information in a clear and accurate way with internal and external contacts.
- Excellent organizational, analytical, written, and verbal communication skills. - Ability to perform comfortably in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented work environment.
