What are the responsibilities and job description for the Optometrist Opportunity position at MAXIMUS?
In 2018, a record number of over 1.8 million Veterans received vision benefits in the United States. Prior to being able to obtain their vision benefits, these Veterans need Optometrists like you to conduct a one-time, in-person, non-treatment, Veterans Affairs (VA) Compensation & Pension Exam to determine their eligibility.
We are seeking practice owners, Medical Groups, etc. with their own office and insurance coverage, to perform one-time, in-person, non-treatment, VA Compensation & Pension Exam to determine our Veterans eligibility for benefits.
Do you have a half day, full day, or even a couple of days per month to meet with Veterans in your office to conduct these exams?

- Our Scheduling office will handle all of the logistics
- Bi-Monthly payments directly to you from VES on the 1st& 15th of each month
- Comprehensive training before your first exam and 24/7 support there after

Provider Requirements:
- Passion for caring for our country's Veterans
- 2 years of experience
- Own office where you can conduct the exams
- Current & clean licensure
- Proof of Individual Malpractice or Professional Liability Insurance
- Own laptop or iPad to complete the evaluations
