What are the responsibilities and job description for the Box truck driver position at Maxway Trucking?
Position Overview
Maxway is currently seeking a Class B CDL Box Truck Driver, who is HOME DAILY , driving as a contractors for the U.S Post Office.

Schedule :
- 3-4 shifts per week (alternating weeks)
- Dedicated night shift between 12 and 13 hours per shift.
Qualifications :
- Valid CDL license (Class B).
- Current DOT Medical card.
- Clean MVR
- Able to pass a pre-employment drug screen
- Post and pre-trip inspections
- Safely maneuver vehicles at all times, obeying traffic laws and road conditions.
- Ability to safely maneuver truck into loading and unloading position.
- Perform basic vehicle maintenance tasks such as adding oil, fuel, radiator fluid etc.
- Load and unload vehicles using proper equipment as provided and or needed.
- Plan and / or adjust route based on changes or conditions.
- Communicate effectively with others including but not limited to co-workers, supervisors, managers, clients and or customers.
