Veterinary Assistant {Experienced}

Chatham Animal Hospital, a well established veterinary hospital in Cary is looking for an EXPERIENCED, FRIENDLY and DETAIL ORIENTED veterinary assistant for our team.

Responsibilities with this position include client education, completing medical records, filling prescriptions, placing catheters, phlebotomy and processing lab samples, etc.

Qualifications:

• REQUIRED::::Candidate MUST Have at least 1-2 years experience working as a veterinary assistant in an animal hospital environment or animal care facility.
• Proficient computer skills, experience with Impromed/Infinity software a plus!
• Demonstrate a history of reliability and the ability to work well in a team setting
• Have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Excel in a fast-paced environment, have a great attitude and a passion to enrich the lives of pets and their owners.

This is a FULL TIME position, with competitive salary (based on experience) and a comprehensive benefits package available.

Applicants will be expected to be available for work Monday through Friday (four-day work schedule), including Saturday morning rotations.
