What are the responsibilities and job description for the Communications Specialist position at Mayvin Inc?
Mayvin is seeking a Communications Specialist who will support Associate Directors and Deputy Directors, as needed, in a timely and professional manner while interfacing with all divisions and sections of the US Marshals Service. The Communications Specialist will be able to work independently on projects from conception to completion, exercise intelligent judgment with little supervision, and maintain a high degree of confidentiality.
Must be a U.S. Citizen.
Must have an active Top Secret clearance.
Responsibilities:
- Serve as the executive assistant to the Senior Leadership
- Act as the primary point of contact to represent executives with their internal and external customer base
- Make travel arrangements, plan, and execute all activities within the automated travel system
- Assist with analysis of data and metrics in preparation of reports and briefing materials
- Manage special projects from start to completion
- Compose, draft, edit, and prepare correspondence such as letters, emails, memos, etc
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree
- Must have a minimum of three (3) years of proven Communication Specialist/Executive Assistant experience supporting Senior Level Executives (VP, CFO, COO, President, CEO)
- Proven ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
- Forward-looking thinker who actively seeks opportunities and proposes solutions.
- Advance skills utilizing the Microsoft Office Suite
Preferred Qualifications:
- Prior Government Agency Executive Assistant support
