Mayvin is seeking to hire a Senior Acquisition Professional to support a high-visibility Special Operations Acquisition Office. This position works directly with SOF stakeholders to determine acquisition objectives and strategies.
Must be a U.S. Citizen.
Must have a Top-Secret Clearance with SCI Eligibility
Travel: 10-25%
Responsibilities:
- Provide technical guidance and advisory assistance in the preparation of acquisition documentation including; Statement of Objectives (SOOs), Statement of Work (SOW) requirements, Single Acquisition Management Plan (SAMP), procurement plans, program descriptions, technical specifications, and other required solicitation and programmatic information
- Review Request for Proposal (RFP) packages for conformance with all aspects of relevant procurement regulations, prepares technical evaluations and validates independent government cost estimates (IGCE). Develop and maintain programmatic documents and trackers
- Facilitate Distribution of Vendor list to required contracting offices
- Provide assistance in vendor/acquisition contractor proposal evaluation, COTS/GOTS product analysis, source selection, acceptance testing, and performance monitoring against established benchmarks
- Develop metrics, track, and report performance, and implements improvement recommendations
- Manage the delivery and training for SOF operational initiatives resourced by the client's lifecycle
- Provide stakeholders with situational awareness of all deployed SOF operational initiatives including their resource status, effectiveness, and ownership (tactical, operational, and strategic)
- Establish logistics pathways and track the delivery of end items through the procurement process until delivery to the end user
Qualifications:
- BA/BS in Business Administration or related field
- Minimum of 12 years of directly related experience required
- Demonstrated DoD Program Management Acquisition experience
Preferred:
- Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA) Certification or equivalent DAU coursework in Program Management or Engineering is preferred, but not required.
- PMP Certification is preferred, but not required.
- SOF Experience is desired, but not required
