Transfer Pricing Tax Staff

Job Description: Mazars in the U.S. is hiring! Our firm's Transfer Pricing practice seeks an experienced Tax Staff who excels in client deliverables, exhibits strong leadership capabilities, and has a passion for our profession, to join our Transfer Pricing and Economics team. As a Tax Staff in the group, you will help our clients develop compliant, tax efficient structures that help advance their business goals. You will participate in various aspects of transfer pricing planning, compliance documentation, dispute resolution, and advance pricing agreements. You will work as part of a team with extensive consulting and industry experience, helping our clients solve their complex business issues from strategy to execution. This is a national practice. The preferred location for the position is our New York office. However, the position can take place in any of our Mazars U.S. office locations. Our firm also offers remote working. What You Will Do: Collecting and organizing client information, and maintaining client files Conducting company and industry research, and reporting on the same Independently conducting database research for transfer pricing projects, and supervising junior staff conducting the same Independently preparing economic and financial analysis, and supervising junior staff performing the same Independently preparing and reviewing client deliverables, and supervising junior staff preparing and reviewing the same Independently responsible for client relationship management, invoicing, collection, and internal reporting processes Establish effective working relationships directly with clients Preparing, presenting, and publishing educational or professional content, under supervision of management Participating in industry and professional associations and events, and representing the firm at the same What We Seek: Required Bachelor of Science degree in economics, finance, or a business-related field 1 years of relevant work experience providing professional services and financial analysis in economics, credit, investment management or private equity Demonstrated success in client relationship management and client services sales experience in a professional services environment Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (oral/written) Proficient with English language composition and writing (samples required) Proficient with use of Microsoft Office 365 Suite tools (Word & Excel) Proficient in use of database tools, including access, constructing queries, exporting results, etc. Ability to travel occasionally, and outside of the regular business hours to accommodate international clients Authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship Preferred Relevant advanced degree or professional certification (MBA, CFA, LLM, etc.) 1 years of work experience providing transfer pricing consulting services at a staff level, or 2 years of work experience providing professional services in economics, credit, financial analysis, management consulting, investment management, or a related field Experience working with various financial database tools, such as Bloomberg, FactSet, Moody’s BVD Orbis, S&P CapitalIQ, or similar business data bases What We Offer: Competitive base salary and incentive compensation plan A comprehensive benefits package that includes medical, dental and life insurance plans, a generous paid days’ off (PDO) plan, and a competitive 401k plan A dynamic, diverse work experience in a growing global organization An inclusive, client-centered environment where you can develop new skills, enhance your overall business knowledge and work with world-class professionals Intensive customized training, including in-house leadership development programs, continuing professional education courses, and both classroom and on-the-job training Opportunity for International Mobility experiences are also made available Who We Are: Mazars in US is an independent member firm of Mazars Group, an international audit, tax, and advisory organization with operations in over 90 countries.
