Who you are
The funding team is responsible for packaging funding submissions and communicating with our lending partners as well as our internal revenue team. As a Funding Coordinator, you will ensure the quality and accuracy of the data and information received and doing an in-depth analysis on every file that we send over to our lending partners. You will learn the daily processes of operations internally and externally with our partners.
As a Funding Coordinator, you will learn through direct mentorship and training programs to successfully operate daily responsibilities and manage external partners.
The ideal candidate is extremely organized, detail oriented and eager to learn the intricacies of each of our lending partners as well as our internal processes.
Responsibilities
- Effectively use MAZO’s system capabilities and applications (Microsoft Excel, Salesforce, TVal, etc..)
- Develop and enhance internal workflow processes and manage internal communications.
- Ensure process coordination and effective day-to-day cooperation and information sharing with other Departments such as Revenue, Credit, Accounting, Finance, etc…
- Gather transaction information by coordinating with our internal Revenue Team.
- Prepare Funding Packages, including summary, financial analysis as well as collateral valuation.
- Ensure each transaction complies with MAZO’s credit policies and procedures.
- Identify key risks and mitigating factors for each transactions on each funding package.
- Ensure effective communication internally with our various departments.
- Minimize turnaround time while thoroughly documenting credit requests.
- Perform special projects as required or requested
- Build relationships with our lending partners and manage those relationships.
Qualifications
- BA/BS degree preferred.
- Comfortable multi-tasking, prioritizing, and managing multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong Excel skills preferred and knowledge with all other Microsoft Office products.
- Experience using Salesforce is a plus
- Demonstrates analytical skills.
- Ability to communicate effectively in oral and written form.
- Ability to effectively organize and prioritize a multitude of tasks under tight deadlines.
- Ability to work independently and be highly motivated.
- Strong critical reasoning skills.
